Some pets do the weirdest things. They might be weird but still cute. These two look like they were playing a game and got a little carried away. Maybe they were caught in the act of doing something they shouldn't have been. They expression is "what I didn't do it". Either way it looks like they were having lots of fun. If anyone knows these two cuties I would love to hear what they were up to. The other pic is Spot. Funny story. First let me say he doesn't "play" much. When he does he's rough. I got him to play last night I have a few cuts. Anyway he bit my hand while he had my fingers, in his mouth, he proceeded to fall asleep. I laid there for a good 10 minutes. He started to close his mouth so I had to move my hand. How does an animal fall asleep when they have a human hand in their mouth?

Danielle, anxious to hear how things are going for you.
Jake is more yellow than the other day. He has to be force fed. Baby food on the finger then on the tongue. He is going to have more blood work today. The vet thinks he will be able to come home tonight. If he does he will have to go to the doctors everyday to have shots of fluid and medication. He is on the happy side though. I did not get to see him last night. Really sad about that. I do get to see him today. I asked if they could transfer him to the clinic that is open late.
There is a little kitten on the top of my page. Near the blogger sign. Click on it once and it will chase your mouse. Double click and it gives you options.
I hope Jake gets to come home today. It will be good for him to be with those he loves. Love and prayers for you both.
Danielle, Glad to hear little Jake is doing better. Know he misses you. Can't wait until he comes home, he should heal faster with you.

Hi my babies! Danielle, I thought you knew they were mine. Actually what is going on in this pic is the fact that Benji is in love with Sammie!! He will lay there like that and roll all over her legs, rub ........awwwww, sorry! But Marley is actually play wrestling w/Benji!!!! I'm shocked! Okay, he's done now....maybe not! I swear (no offenses) Marley is gay. I'm serious! He does not, I repeat, does not tolerate Emma and no other kitties either. He prefers my husband and son as well. He's never aggressive to anyone, just whines and walks away. I wish I had the camera!!!!! Okay, I'm just shocked. That's the first time Marley has interacted w/any other cat since Danny Boy! Okay! Where was I. Sammie and Benji. Yes, Benj will roll all over her, sometimes on her nose if she's laying w/her head down and he rubs on her face, chest and legs. He goes gaa gaa over Sammie. Of course, she won't hardly give him the time of day! You go girl! It is too cute though! Btw, Marley and Benji are laying close to each other on the floor. I still can't believe it!
Oh, one last thing. Danielle, did you use the first html code or the second?? I can't get it to work on my site!!! Wahhh! Help!
That white thing on my finger is his tooth. He's got big teeth. I also wanted to say Neko's color can be changed. He's so much fun.

Good Morning Danielle! I'm not sure what to say really. I'm happy that Jake will get to come home! Does he look more yellow? Is he under a Billy light? Danielle, I'm your friend and I wish only the best for you, I hope you know that. If Jake is yellow, his Jaundice is getting worse. I went through this with my daughter. She had to sleep under a Billy light for 20 HRS a day for a week. I don't know if with cats it works differently. I know you want him home but please, if you feel in your heart that it might be too soon, talk to your vet. Please don't be upset, I don't mean to be a killjoy! I just don't want you and Jake to go through more than you have to. Please, please don't be mad. I really am your friend.

I am not mad at all. I am going to wait until the blood work comes back before any decisions. I am going to ask about the light. But if the blood work comes back bad I just might have to make that horrid decision. I also asked about a biopsy. I'm not sure if that will happen though. I know you only want the best and that might not be best. I welcome thought, comments and advise. Even if it is not happy.
Danielle, This is a very hard day for you and I want you to know that if you have to make that decision and decide to be with Jake when it happens, it is very quick and painless for them. I've had to do that twice for my Kim and Simon Says. Both were very beloved family members and I decided to be with them, petting them the whole time, crying the whole time. As hard as it was, I knew they wouldn't feel pain anymore. Both were into the tail end of kidney failure and had lost 1/2 their body weight. You will do what you feel is right for Jake, I know and we are all here for you. God bless you.
He does go outside. The vet said it is liver related. Maybe caused by toxic stuff like fertilizer and other stuff. We only use natural at home (organic) We had to put down our dog it was very hard. Our cat was going to be put down on Feb 3. After my sister made the appt. she passed away. Like she knew. She was in a bad way and it was her time. It is very hard and I'm hoping for the best. I just have to wait for the results. Hope they are here today. And good.
Spot is really an odd one. He has been sleeping with me which is unusual. He knows there is a lot of stress. He is such a good boy.
Danielle - Hope you do get good news for Jakes blood work.I'm sure Jake will let you know if you should let him go. Many kitty prayers and kisses for you and Jake.
danielle, not to sound depressing or anything but jake could be holding on to come "home". either way you and jake are in my prayers. take care and remember we are all thinking about you. we (fuzz packers) all cry when someone is hurting and rejoice when there is something to cheer about.
Well I talked to the vet and she said he was ok to come home. He is going to have to go everyday for meds and fluids though. He is really bad at taking pills. So he is goinh to get a shot. He doesn't mind shots. which is good.
glad to hear jakey gets to come home. i pray he will gain strength every day to a full recovery. take care of yourself too. jake would be sad if you stressed out to the point you got really sick.
