Wasted Day

Well we had agood weekend, for a change. I even got a sunburn. I took the kids swimming for about three hours on Saturday. They had a good time. The water was freezing until you got used to it. I wasted the day yesterday. I had planned on doing laundry and some cleaning. Instead I ended up sleeping. Just wasting a perfect day. Oh well I guess you do what you need.

Jake is eating wet cat food. He doesn't really chew. He's been licking the food and eating that way.
great to hear jake is eating (real cat food) on his own again. keeping ya'll in my prayers.

Yes thank you. I am extatic about that. Cat food is actually cheaper than baby food. Go figure. Glad to hear you are ffeling better.
That second pic is awesome. I love it. They really do sleep in odd places.
What neat pictures for a Monday. Glad to hear Jake is eating, whether it is slurping or licking, just so he's eating. He is a beautiful cat, I have his photo in My Pictures.
This must have been a "sleep-in" kinda weekend for everyone. It rained almost the entire weekend here. I slept most of the time also. Now it's Monday, still raining (but we needed it)!
Really glad to hear that Jake is getting back on the cat food track. I had to do the baby food thing for our Simon and it does get so expensive. Love the pictures and really, Danielle, sometimes we just have to totally relax. I'm going on vacation later this week and plan on spending one of those days doing nothing!!!! Hope everyone has a good Monday.
Hello, I feel like I've been gone from your site forever! The one bad thing about being away on vacation is that it takes so long to get caught back up!
So glad that Jake is improving! Yesw, baby food is WAY more expensive! That used to make me so mad!

My mom was doing better yesterday. She knows it was the right thing to do.
And yeah for Jakey eating soft food! When does he go back to the vet? Is he still going to get fluids and meds? What does the vet think now?
I am going to call the vet today. Probably get an appt this week.He has not been getting fluids. He has gained a bit of weight though. I can tell the difference when I pet him. His attitude has also changed drastically.
