I got another surprise
I went to my house before I picked up the kids just so I could see what came in the mail. I received a cup with Jake's picture and name on it. I couldn't stop staring at it. I showed everyone I saw. I think that is so cool how that can be done. I took a picture of it with my new camera. I also went a little crazy taking pictures last night. Unfortunately I did not bring the equipment to connect the camera to the puter. It was a little stressful morning. Getting up late kids not listening the worst part clothes in the dryer not dry. Other than that I am just too happy to complain about anything. I so love my gifts. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put up an extra pic for yesterday's not being able to.

Since this is the place to do it, I am going to vent. Tomorrow is my birthday (that's a good thing). My wonderful husband ordered me flowers from 1800flowers to be delivered to me at work for my birthday, how do I know this? Cause they were delivered to me yesterday!!! Two days early! It was a nice feeling to have flowers sent to me, but it was also kind of a let down, cause it wasn't my birthday yet! My husband was not happy. They weren't supposed to be delivered until tomorrow. So my husband called 1800flowers and they got an earful! They are supposed to correct their mistake, how I don't know, but we'll see. Okay, I am done. :o)

Oh Riquel, sorry that happened but at least you have a wonderful, thoughtful husband. My birthday is August 6th (I'll be 60) and have been married for 39 years-never received flowers from him for any of those birthdays-well, now I've vented too!!!!
I think 1800 should send you another bouquet on your actual day, tomorrow. Well, anyway have a wonderul Birthday tomorrow.

Danielle - Can't wait to see pix with your new camera! And, the day will get better! I hate stressful mornings that everything seems to go the opposite way you are going! But, momma said there'd be days like that! Right!? Lol!

That's a real p***er when the clothes aren't dry--you can't fake that one! On the other hand, the mug sounds just GREAT! You deserve good things, Danielle!
I love the kissing kitty pictures-are those lynxes? I'm not good with big cat pictures. We have a bobcat who wanders through our patch every now and then. The first time he(yes, I could see) came by, I went out to find Flumpy, who was on the top step to the deck and VERY impressed. I asked the bobcat to move along. His response was to flip his tail at me, spray the apple tree, and s t r o l l off into the woods. Later, Flumpy spent hours checking the tree and trying to figure out how to spray THAT high!
The only one of our wildlife who listens when I ask him to leave is the black bear-and even he doesn't listen well during berry season!

Riquel, among other things, I worked as a floral design manager in a shop co-owned by my brother and his life partner. If that happened to us, and it were my call, I would refund your husband the money, PLUS replace the flowers with a more exotic design, because, hell, that's my reputation, there! Big $%^#@# for a HOME delivery, but AT WORK??!
I'd be licking shoes!! No, just another bouquet is NOT enough...I happen to know, even with a second arrangement, they're still coming out ahead. Only a refund and/or another arrangement should have been offered to your husband, and it should have been your husband's decision, I would've phrased it, How han we make up for this? and then state my idea. The customer should always feel THEY have control of the situation because, hell, they DO!
Anyway, that's MY vent on customer Service! I've had my share of "making it up to" a customer, and it's always better to "eat" your profit margin and then some, to keep your rep and get good word-of-mouth.
The cup sounds so cute! I adore cups! I used to have a collection of all kinds of Mugs, and use them according to my mood or what I'm drinking! There's my coffee mug, tea mug, hot chocolate mug, hot milk with honey mug, (feel like Bubba from Forrest Gump! LOVE that movie!)
Oh, tomorrows vent...What happened at the oral surgeons, or rather, WHAT DIDN't happen...i still have the blasted tooth!!

First, Riquel, they should deliver flowers and refund the $$$ as well, at the very least. That totally ruined his surprise. But he must be a real sweetheart to do that for you.
Danielle, does the mug look good? Is Jake's photo clear? Hopefully we'll see a picture with The One and Only Jake sitting beside it.
