Annoying
Ok so this morning I got up late and that is always the way to start the day. The kids were not in listening moods. Well I get them to the Y and I get here to work. I check my email and there is a thing from paypal saying that my address has been changed. I really hate those fake emails. So I went to their actual site and checked all the info they have on me. Just to make sure nothing has changed. Everything seems to be in order. Thank goodness. So I get home yesterday, I left the car windows open. I came outside about 6:45 or so and who comes jumping out of my car? Jake. He got into the secret paws presents. I bought something, I can't say what, that he has never had. Oh it was too funny. Well I guess I can tell because I have to get something else now. He got into this tub of catnip. He didn't actually get it open. When I opened it he was just so funny. He really likes it a lot. I had the container open to see if Spot was interested in it (he wasn't) Jake starts to paw at it and poured a little bit all over my legs and in the car. Well That's when I decided to get out of the car before there was any damage done. So he had quite a bit of nip last night. I got to take some video and I was just laughing my ass off at him last night.

Good morning! That is too funny! Shame you couldn't of gotten pix of him...BUSTED! Lol!
Well, Jake must have a catnip hangover today? Funny Jake. Hope the day goes well for you despite the trying beginning.
I got some great pictures and some video. I just can not find the cable to hook up to the computer. I will later on today I hope.
I woke up late this morning too...so I was late for work, and my refridgerator died. It isn't even a year old yet...it better still be under warranty or Lowes can come pick it back up and stick it where the sun don't shine. Why does it seem when you don't wake up right, everything just goes down hill from there?
Hopefully the day will get better for you, Riquel, but I sure know what you mean. Some days I think that if it wasn't for BAD luck, I would have no luck at all. Check your instruction book on the frig. I got a new one last summer and mine book said that all parts were covered for a year and some for 5 years, good luck.
Good luck Riquel!
Danielle - Love the pics! Good to put another face to a name and voice! I gotta find a decent picture of me! I'm not very photogenic!!
Danielle--LOVE the pictures, glad to finally see your sweet face. Spot really looks like an armful, especially for a young boy!
I'm with Kat about photos of me--I think the last good one was when I graduated from high school(my 40th reunion is next summer).
Riquel-Good luck with the fridge! Lowe's usually does a good job, and it SHOULD still be under warantee. Just vacuum under it before anyone sees it. The last time I (finally) remembered, there was a whole 'nuther cats-worth of fur under there!! BTW, where's your mother?? We miss her humor, and her spelling is usually good for a laugh, too!(J/K-who am I to talk?!)
My husband called Lowes and they will be out tomorrow, or someone from Maytag or well anyway someone will be out to fix the fridge. We bought the extended warranty! Phew! Which I was kind of surprised about cause I usually never do that...so I guess I lucked out this time...ya it would probably be a good idea to pull the fridge out and collect all the cat toys that have been lost under there. Indigo is a bottle cap theif, and awhile back we pulled out our stove to clean under, and my husband counted over 100 bottle caps that had ended up flung up under there by her. She is so funny to watch her steal them, she will sit at the table and watch you put everything down, and then she will sit there looking at you to make sure that you are not paying her any attention, and then she will walk away, and come back and go under the table, and then all of a sudden you will see this paw poke up, and pull the bottle cap down, and then she picks it up in her mouth and runs off with it. It was really funny when we had a glass coffee table, because even though she could see the cap through the table, I don't think she realized we could see her, so she would still try to be sneaky, or she would try to get the cap through the table....it was funny. Guess you had to be there.
Finally! A face with the name!
That is really funny!!!!!!!!!!!
Danielle, Great pictures of you, your son and your kitties. I agree with Riquel. Always good to put a name to a face. Riquel, glad the frig issue is on the way to being settled and hope everyone has a great evening.
riquel, cute story about indigo and the bottle caps. kitties can be so funny with their little habits/games. glad to hear the fridge issue will get ironed out tomorrow. does your extended warrantee cover food loss? it might, check it and see. add up what it would cost to replace what spoils.
danielle, nice to have a face w/ a name. perhaps that is something we need to work on with the list of name email, phone and, of course, who we are owned by.
hmmm...there is an idea...unfortunately most of the time what food is in there is already on its way to going bad....think I could convince them I had filet mignon and other expensive goodies in there...ha ha
most of the time, they won't ask for more than a general list with a edumacated guess of cost. i doubt they would want pics of all the spoiled food. besides that would be really gross after a few days.
LOL...and here is my pic of a rotten zuchini, and this used to be a, uh, tomato..or was that an apple...no, no wait, don't tell me...oh, it's another zuchini.
Riquel - LOL! Can you imagine an exhibit of photos of spoiled food? And I love the story of Indigo, the bottle cap thief. Scruffy (RB angel) would steal small bits of chicken right off our plates when we weren't looking. And had a perfect innocent face; I could see her halo!
Danielle, isn't it amazing how a niphead can find your stash, even in the car?! My mom sent Bonnie a catnip mat one xmas, and she smelled it through a plastic bag, wrapping paper, and cardboard box... she followed the box like a magnet and I had to put her gift on the top closet shelf! Xmas day, she opened it herself and had a blast.
You should enroll Jake in Catnip Anonymous!
