Friday, its nerve wrecking
Ok here it goes. Today is the day I find out if I win a new car. It kinda just hit me that it was real. I am so nervous and excited. AAAGGGGHHHH!!! I am very busy at work as well. I get to leave at 3 pm today. YEAH! I forgot to say yesterday that the new boyfriend bought me a rose. How sweet is that. I was in a bad mood and out of nowhere he aasked me to stop at the store. I figure he had to get cigarettes. He came out with the flower for me. This is the flower I got. The sunset is at a park the four of us were at. Well I have to go for now.

Thank you. He is very sweet. I think I got lucky this time. He really likes my kids to. That is a plus.
Aaawww....it has been a looonng time since I have gotten flowers for no reason. Hmm...I think I have been good enough to deserve them. But I usually just say heck with it and if I want them, I buy them myself! Good luck with the car tonight! I will have my fingers crossed.
At our house, the cats try to eat any flowers that are brought in so that is my husbands excuse. Emma and Alex will both pull flowers out of the vase and drag them around the house-little monsters. Then, when you scold them, they look at you as if you are the "bad" one.
Danielle- Good luck tonight with the car. The kitty crew here has kitty toes crossed for yah.
I think they all eat flowers. The only ones that have been safe with them are sunflowers.
Danielle, GOOD LUCK!!! I'm rooting for you my friend!!! Sounds like your guy is a good guy. I want to be nosey now, don't be offended, please! What's he do, how old is he, does he have kids, ever been married? If this is over stepping my sisterly bounds, then you don't have to tell me and I won't be hurt! Remember, I'm from the deep South, these are just questions we normally ask!
I can count on getting roses three times a year. My birthday, Mother's Day, and our Anniversary. Now if my birthday falls on Mother's day, then I only get them twice a year. That sometimes happens. He's sweet but predictable. I'm not complaining, I think he's very sweet, but a surprise once in a while would be nice. Of course we've been married long enough that if he got me flowers for no reason, I'd think he was up to something. LOL, can't win can he?!!!

Ok here we go. As you know (maybe not) his name is Joe. He has a twin sister. They are both 31. this is really cool their birthday is the same as my 18 year old brother. He works making docks for boats and stuff like that. He has never been married and does not hav e any kids. It wouldn't bother me if he did because I have some. My kids really like him and kids are a good judge of character. I have to go right now but will tell more in a while. I am a very open person. I love playing 20 questions. There are only a few things I will keep secret, but not much at all.
danielle, being from the south also, here's my list of questions. is his work steady, how long has he been employed with that company, what type of car does he own, does he look you in the eye when he speaks to you, does he have any bad habits (smoking), does he like sports, does he have manners, what's his blood type? did i leave anything out? LOL

He sounds like SUCH a Good Hearted Soul...Blessings to you both! Awww, a rose because you were in a pissy mood, that is SO sweet! But there's nothing wrong with buying flowers for oneself...having been a florist, I usually could talk a lady into indulging in something for herself, and it wasn't just hard sell! Wanna know what's sad? A few days before Valentines Day, we would see quite a few single ladies coming in and taking the longest time just browsing, maybe asking one of us what type of flower it was that attracted her attention. Those ladies I didn't try to sell on self-indulgence. I just had an ache in my solar plexus for them...I can relate...

Wow blood type? His work is steady in thte winter the boss does something else. I haven't known him that long only about two weeks (roughly) He does look me in the eyes for the most part. He is currently not driving. He has to save up to get a car. he compliments me quite a bit. Which I get embarrased when he does. I don't take compliments very well. Low self esteem. Well we actually have the bad habbit of smoking. I am going to quit someday soon. I think this is my last year for that. Oh get this. My family (me included) are Boston Red Sox fans. He is a Yankee fan. Really funny. He is not a sports nut but he does like racecar stuff and baseball. Little example we were at the beach the other night and he was saying that we should leave because I was cold. I thought that was nice. I wasn't cold though. My hands and arms were. Kinda dorky. he is 5 7 which I think is a little on the taller side. I am only 5 3.
Yep...mine will eat the flowers too, and when I scold them they look at me like "what, those aren't for me?"

I am going to take it slow because of that. I am unfortunately going alone tonight with the exception of my fuzz family. I don't think you take the car today. There is all that paperwork that needs to be done. His sister is really nice. He doesn't talk to his parents. Some kind of falling out. I am not pressuring him about it.
