Its too hot!
Good morning. Today is worse than yesterday. We have an ozone alert today. That means all public rides are free. It is supposed to be about 95 today. Maybe a bit warmer. Then we have the lovely humidity. I am going to guess about 75-80% humidity. When you walk outside for 10 minutes you start sweating buckets. It can also make you sick. It happened to me yesterday. I left work at lunchtime. Well hopefully it will be alright today. I have to get my cable and put some pictures I took on my computer. Anyway I will leave you with that. I wish I was in this weather today.

AAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!! I am sitting here at my desk at work, and I just had a spider drop out of nowhere onto my arm!!! AAAAAGGGGHHHH! Now I feel like they are crawling all over me....aaaagggghhhh! I am not usually afraid of spider, nor do I a have archnaphobia...I just don't want them on me!!! AAAGGGHHH!!!
I am petrified about spiders. I would have flipped.
OH RIQUEL!!! I hate spiders! I would feel like they were all over me too! Once you have that in your head, it's hard to shake the feeling. They're not there so just keep that in mind and it will get better and better!
Hi Danielle, I saw on the news that it's going to be hot almost everywhere in the country. It's hot here!!!! We're suppose to hit 99. Tulsa, where we moved from, has a high listed as 104!!! I'm not a big fan of the heat! I like a happy medium.
Riquel, at least you were not driving when it happened. I almost wrecked a truck I had because I had a spider crawling up my pants and on to my shirt.
i'm sure it's going to be hot here in Florida, I haven't watched the news to see how hot though. Drink lots of fluids everyone, especially if you are doing anything out side today.
Welcome to my world here in Lousiana. Hot and humid every day, until end of August at least! Luckely I just got a brand new A/C, so I'm making it nice and chilly inside, even thought the kitties does not like it so cold. The worst is that I have to work in a greenhouse everyday, and it is even more hot and humid inside there. Talk about sweating buckets!
Another day of great pictures, these are appropriately chilling for us. Had a storm last night so we are back down in the 80's in Michigan but only for today, tomorrow the heat is back.
us south carolinians are experienceing the heat wave also. today is 99 tomorrow they say 100. add the 60%+ humidity and YUCK! we are trying to find ways not to have to heat up the kitchen in the evening. last night my husband grilled outside under our huge oak tree and i made instant microwave macaroni and cheese. (yep the blue box stuff) i even browned dinner rolls in the toaster oven. tonight i will use the electric pressure cooker and cook a one pot meal. weatherman says we might get a bit of a break by the weekend. highs of only mid 90's!
Those are great pictures. Snow does sound nice about now. Today is a little better here though. I am so tired now. Since the only place I have to keep Fitz separate from Ella at night is my room, I haven't gotten much sleep. I feel like a new mom with a baby that wants to stay up all night. LOL My boss is so weird, he said he wanted me to work part time, but then he comes in before I'm supposed to leave with a list of things for me to do, and I end up staying almost the whole day anyway. Go figure. As long as I get paid for it it's fine with me.
